Terms and conditions of reservation and cancellation

Thank you for your reservation. Welcome to enjoy your stay at Hattusaari! For your stay to be successful in all aspects, please familiarise yourself with our booking and cancellation terms below.

Hattusaaren Rantamajat applies the following terms to booking and cancelling Vanha Ristola. You will receive the booking terms of the event venue separately in connection with making your booking.

The rent is paid 2 days before the start of the booking. The customer may cancel the booking for free up to 2 days before the beginning of the holiday. If the customer cancels their booking later, the customer shall be charged the price of the accommodation’s first night.

Cancellations must be made by phone or email.


In case of falling ill and the customer provides a medical certificate, the entire amount minus an administration fee of 30 euros shall be refunded. We always recommend taking out a travel insurance policy.


COLLECTION OF KEYS


The keys can be found in the key box.

The holiday accommodation is available to the customer from the arrival date at 4.00 pm until the departure date at 12.00 pm. The key code shall be provided by email, no later than in the morning of the arrival date.


HATTUSAAREN rantamajat RIGHT TO CANCEL A BOOKING


In case of a force majeure, we reserve the right to terminate an agreement. We are obliged to inform the customer about this without delay. In this case, the customer has the right to a full refund from Hattusaari Island Cottages for the total paid rent.

If the customer suspends their booking and leaves the holiday property before the end of the booking, the customer shall not be entitled to any rent refunds.


COMPENSATION OF DAMAGES


The customer is responsible for compensating any damages caused to the holiday accommodation or its chattels.


NUMBER OF PEOPLE/STAYING AT THE CABIN


The maximum number of people who may use the holiday accommodation is the number indicated in the holiday accommodation’s description as the number of beds, or what has been agreed upon when booking the holiday accommodation.

Staying in a camper van/trailer or camping in a tent in the yard area of the holiday property is prohibited without permission.
A quiet time between 10.00 pm - 7.00 am is observed in the area. 


POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS



All observations and complaints concerning the accommodation’s equipment and condition must be addressed immediately upon their identification directly to the owner. Any complaints that are made retrospectively shall not be considered.

Any items that are forgotten at the apartment shall be stored for 14 days. The items shall be posted to the customer upon request. The customer shall be responsible for any costs incurred for the sending. We also charge a service fee of 15€/ consignment.



CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS AND CHECKING OUT OF THE HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION ON THE DEPARTURE DATE



The key shall be available on the arrival date at 4.00 pm, and it must be returned on the departure date by 12.00 pm unless otherwise agreed.

The customer is responsible for replacing lost keys. In addition, the customer is responsible for any costs incurred for the installation of new locks and cutting keys.

Smoking is prohibited in the indoor areas of the entire holiday home.

Upon checking out, the holiday home must be left in a tidy state.

Pets are not allowed in the main building. Pets are permitted in the outbuildings and the yard cabin, and the pet fee is 10 euros per holiday period.
